Sale pricing begins at $10,000 for a indoor solid color 1 banner system, ranges between $40,000 and $80,000 for a 6 banner indoor system with music, and is as much as $5,000,000 for a custom printed and choreographed 50 banner outdoor system with lighting, music, and interactivity. Rental pricing begins at $1500 per banner per show for dual-color stock size Dancing Banners displays. Shipping, mounting, custom printing or banner fabrication, and lighting is additional.

The Dancing Banners artwork is comprised of a Lycra/Spandex fabric stretched over a custom "backbone" lattice. The elastic fabric enables the banners' striking sensual motions. The internal lattice prevents the banners from folding up on themselves during high speed, high torque motions.

The banners are controlled by long-life brushless computer-controlled servo motors on one end. The second end in some instances is designed to hang free, and in others is attached to industrial grade computer-controlled brakes. A rich choreography language allows the creation of complex silent motion sequences and exuberant dances set to music.

Banner material is typically treated to be fire retardant as per the NFPA 701 specification.

The core Twirling Banners system is composed of a white banner with an internal "backbone" lattice, a constant-speed drive motor with mounting plate for ceiling installation, and all connective hardware. The backbone lattice, combined with a visually unobtrusive aluminum pole running inside the fabric the length of the banner holds the banners' "twist". You can adjust the degree of twist to create the exact appearance you want.

The Twirling Banners display is animated by simple motorized mechanisms. The speed and direction of can be individually set for each banner.

Twirling Banners artwork is available for both purchase and rental.

The purchase price for the core Twirling Banners system (indoor system), for 3' wide x 16' tall banners, is in the $2000 per banner range for quantities of around 10. Single units are $2500.

You can choose to custom print and sew slide-over sleeves, for your changing events, with any local printing and stitching vendors (or have us handle this for you). Standard costs in low volume for dye sub printing on Lycra/Spandex is (in the Boston area) around $10-$15/sq-foot (which includes the fabric). Stitching costs could be expected to be in the $100/banner range. Thus, for a complete custom double sided printed slide-over sleeve, the cost could be expected to be in the $100 + 3'x16'x2x$13/sq-ft=$1348 range.

*Note that this replacement sleeve printing/fabrication cost is essentially identical to printing any conventional static fabric banner, and is unaffected by the fact that it will eventually be moving.*

If simple bright colors (no custom printing) is sufficient, the above $1348 figure is closer to just $400.

Short term rental costs are in the $350-$700/banner range (for the core system described above), depending on the number of systems rented, length of event, size of banner, etc. All custom sleeve printing costs are identical to those described for purchase. If non-custom-printed bright sleeve colors are sufficient, and desired colors are in stock, rental of those would add no more than $95/banner per event.
