AeroVertica

AeroVertica, developed in collaboration with Taylor Studios for the Challenger Learning Center

The AeroVertica is a visitor powered, interactive installation demonstrating lift. Turn the crank fast enough, and the propeller overcomes gravity and takes off, freely moving up and down the length of the shaft. Multi-stage shock absorbers protect the prop from collision at the top and bottom.
